Our Story
From a Loom in Varanasi
Zariya began with a single trip to Varanasi in 2018, where our founders met weaver families whose looms had fallen silent — undercut by powerloom copies sold at handloom prices. We started with 40 sarees and a simple promise: source directly, pay fairly, and tell the story of every weave. Today, Zariya works with over 400 weaver families across 12 clusters, and more than 50,000 women across India have draped our sarees on their most important days.
